The training implications are for each school to determine , depending upon thier particular circumstances.
Logistics, spectators etc
We cannot confirm the presence of host school catering and spectators at the BSRA regattas at this stage. A continual appraisal of the govt restrictions from now until the events will determine the viability closer to the day/s.
Thank you to the BSRA Chair, the BSRA board and Rowing Queensland for facilitating a return to rowing within the current guidelines.

2020 is behind us and we are all keen to come back to the Dam and watch our daughters row! Therefore, why not start with Regatta 1. On Saturday 24 July 2021, Somerville House Rowing Support Group extends this invitation to the wider rowing community to watch School Girls Rowing at is best and to enjoy ‘Somerville StreetEats’, showcasing Paddock to Plate, Street Food fare. The Somerville StreetEats marquees will include breakfast and lunch options, home baked goods available from the Cake Stall, fresh coffee and real fruit slushies.
On this occasion we will also be showcasing two (2) Limited edition menu items featuring Tuckerang ‘Healthy Grain Fed Lamb’. You will need to order quick as these items won’t last long!
We will also conduct a raffle from the Spectators Marquee and in the past this has drawn great interest given the unique prizes on offer. Tickets will be sold on the day with the raffle draw at our End of Season Dinner – Saturday 28 August 2021.
We do hope you can join us at Wyaralong Dam for a great day of schoolgirls rowing and oh by the way, leave your picnic baskets at home & enjoy some great food with us.
