Parking at Wyaralong

Parking is a challenge at Wyaralong.
For those with mobility issues, it is difficult (but not insurmountable) – the venue does not lend itself to customary access processes and must be pre arranged rachael@bsra.org.au.

The spectator pass does not permit access until 6:30am

Head of the River for athletes

It is highly recommended that athletes are bussed in

Athletes that choose to come in with parent/carer/spectators will not be permitted entry until 7am and this is considered too late to assist with rigging and/or get to the start line

Please note:

Rowing Queensland is the lease holder of the competitor headland and the buoyed on-water rowing course. Safety considerations are cited to limit parking for the BSRA. There is seemingly no understanding from the water body, the local govt and the federal govt of the rowing community venue requirements, so the parking problems for our championship event are unlikely to be resolved for the next 7- 8 years.
