Rowing History

Greetings BSRA community

I am writing to introduce you to my second book on rowing, following my biography of Peter Antonie in 2007. This new book will be the first in a set of two volumes having the generic title Looking Back, Rating High. In 300,000 words and with some 200 illustrations, the books will provide a comprehensive and definitive history of our sport. Volume One is being released in September and is sub-titled From Early Settlement to pre-War Success 1770–1939.
