About BSRA

Welcome to the BSRA regatta season.

This year, our competition once again takes place at the Queensland State Rowing Centre (QSRC) at Wyaralong Dam between Beaudesert and Boonah.

The benefit of our wonderful location is that Wyaralong is a huge body of water that caters brilliantly to the ten BSRA schools descending on it. The course has ten lanes with an abundance of warm up and training water to access. The geography of the ten-lane course offers equal conditions for all competitors. This eliminates controversy in rowing generally and the vast land space ensures we have significantly generous area for social distancing.

The general regatta time schedule is on the Regatta page and various information is in the Competitor Handbook.

Each crew will row twice. The first race will be for pennants and seeding for the Head of the River lane allocation and the second race will count for seeding lane allocation only for the Head of the River.

Single sculling boats race once.

We hope that the variety in competition opportunities inspires great racing and this sport continues to grow.

Good luck and fair racing to all our girls.
